INTRODUCTION

The proposed programme serves several purposes:

• help beginners and newcomers grasp the basics of AI

• engage staff across all departments and skill levels in a structured process that surfaces how AI is actually being used across the business

• establish how confident people feel about AI and what support or learning they want next

• provide depth and insight where it’s needed

• encourage more and better use of available tools

• uncover synergies, among people and across departments

• promote better co-working using AI

• provide intermediate and more advanced users with a forum and platform to share their knowledge with colleagues, for their and the business’s benefit

• understand which tools are being used as well as how and where, to inform future investment (licences, training, development, partnerships)

• generate reports for senior management on progress, gaps, funding requirements, budgets, timescales etc.
